A regular player of crossword Scratch-offs won a $50,000 top prize in Crawfordsville.
Randy Balser enjoys playing Wild Cherry Crossword Tripler Scratch-offs from the Hoosier Lottery, and stopped to pick one up at the Valero Gas Station in Crawfordsville. After scratching, Balser thought he had perhaps won around $1,000 or $5,000. He later had his brother check the ticket using the Hoosier Lottery app and realized he had won the $50,000 top prize. Randy said the feeling didn’t sink in at first, but he eventually felt calm, with a sense of relief.
Balser plans to use the money to pay some bills.
