VINCENNES MAN WINS $50,000 TOP PRIZE ON CROSSWORD SCRATCH-OFF

A regular player of the $3 Wild Cherry Crossword Tripler Scratch-off has won a $50,000 top prize.

Michael Hansen stopped at Huck’s #290 in Vincennes to buy his favorite Scratch-off but didn’t check the ticket until later at home.  He and a friend scanned the Scratch-off using the Hoosier Lottery app and discovered the top prize win.  Michael said that the news didn’t really sink in until he went to claim the prize, with a friend stating “He was calm. He was real calm. I would have been jumping and screaming."

Hansen plans to use the prize money to help purchase a house, a new car, and a motorcycle.
