Justin Mucker and his wife traveled to Logansport from their hometown of Monticello in search of a light bulb for their vehicle. The couple took a pit stop for gas while in Logansport and decided to buy some Hoosier Lottery Scratch-offs for fun. As they scratched the tickets in their vehicle, they realized they had won a $100,000 top prize!
Justin’s wife immediately called her mom while Justin yelled and cheered in disbelief. “My mom thought we had been in a wreck or Justin was having a heart attack the way he was yelling,” his wife said.
The couple plans to use the prize money to save for a new house and purchase a new car. They also plan to indulge a little on their upcoming vacation to Orlando, Fla. with their winnings. Otherwise, “Our date night is going to the store, buying ice cream and Scratch-offs and playing them in the parking lot while we eat our ice cream,” they said.
