On the day Heather bought her winning ticket, she was on her way home from work and she was going back and forth on whether she wanted to get a Powerball ticket. She decided to stop by the gas station close to her home and purchase a Quick Pick. She was relaxing with her fiancé Sunday morning, and he checked their numbers on the Hoosier Lottery website. He saw that they had four matching numbers and the Powerball and realized they had won $50,000. They were both surprised and excited about their win.
