A retiree from Beech Grove stopped to pick up one of his favorite Scratch-offs, and is now celebrating a $100,000 top prize win on $5 $100 Grand.
Gary Taylor is a regular player of Scratch-offs and counts the $5 $100 Grand as one of his favorites. He stopped at Speedway #5488 in Beech Grove to pick some up on a Wednesday night, but didn’t get a chance to scratch them until the next day. When he discovered the win, Taylor said "I was by myself, so I didn't get too crazy... I looked at it again and again and again." He then texted a picture of the ticket to his two daughters, who immediately called to confirm the news. One of his daughters even thought it was a prank and kept insisting the ticket wasn't real.
Gary doesn't have any definite plans for the prize money, but he is debating purchasing a new truck.
