David B. from central Indiana won a $100,000 top prize on his $5 Multiply the Money Scratch-off. David typically will stop by the gas station on his way to work to grab breakfast and sometimes a Hoosier Lottery Scratch-off to play later in the day. One morning his regular retailer was rather busy, so he decided to stop at the Village Pantry down the road. He grabbed a drink, something for breakfast, and he decided to grab a couple Scratch-offs as well. David typically buys whatever tickets pique his interest when he visits a retailer, which on this morning was two $5 Multiply the Money Scratch-offs.
He arrived at work and played both the Scratch-offs. As he was matching up the numbers in the play area of his winning ticket, he was sure he had read the numbers wrong. He scanned the ticket on the Hoosier Lottery app and was pleasantly surprised. David immediately called his wife, and she could not believe it. Only occasionally playing the Hoosier Lottery herself, she was surprised and in disbelief that her husband won a top prize. With his prize money, David plans to pay off some debt and work on a few things around the house.
