An Indianapolis man paid in cash for some Hoosier Lottery draw games and had $3 returned to him in change. He asked the clerk to give him a $3 Hoosier Lottery Scratch-off, and won $50,000 on the ticket.
“I’m still in shock,” said Daniel Fleming, who visited Hoosier Lottery headquarters to claim his prize the day after discovering the win.
He won a top prize of $50,000 on a $3 15X The Cash Scratch-off.
“I’m glad I was there before someone else got it,” Daniel said.
He told his wife that he won, but she didn’t believe him. Daniel had previously pranked her, making her think he won big on the lottery when he hadn’t.
Daniel had no major plans for the money, saying it would likely go toward normal bills and family.
