Player from northern Indiana wins $50,000 Powerball prize
Andrea P. from northern Indiana won a $50,000 prize on her Powerball ticket. When she stopped by Speedway #1427 in Dyer, IN to break a large bill, she decided to go ahead and buy a Powerball and a Hoosier Lotto ticket. When she checked her numbers on the Hoosier Lottery website later that week, she was overjoyed to see her numbers match. Knowing that Powerball is a game offered in multiple states, she checked the Hoosier Lottery site and double checked on the Illinois site to ensure she had the matching numbers. She called her husband into the office to check the numbers again, and he said it was rather gratifying to see the numbers match up.
With the prize money, Andrea plans to help her family, set some money back for savings, and maybe go on a vacation with her husband. Congratulations Andrea!
