James Perkins of Indianapolis could not believe what was happening when he found out he was one of five grand prize winners in the Hoosier Lottery's Wheel of Fortune 2nd Chance promotion and had won a VIP trip to Hollywood where he could win up to $1 million.

Players entered non-winning Hoosier Lottery Wheel of Fortune Fast Play tickets and Scratch-offs for the chance to visit the Wheel of Fortune set and participate in the Mega Money Maker event. James entered about 30 non-winning tickets and was at work when he opened the Hoosier Lottery app and saw a message stating he won one of five 2nd Chance prizes.

In that moment of surprise James had to pause and regain his composure. He then immediately called his wife to share the good news.

As a grand prize winner, James receives a 4-day trip to Los Angeles for two, a tour of Sony Studios, tickets to see Wheel of Fortune, a Hollywood sightseeing tour and a chance to spin the wheel at the Mega Money Maker event, where he could win up to $1 million. 

James is a warehouse worker and feels "beyond blessed" to have won. He is still in complete shock and cannot wait to get to Los Angeles for a chance to win the big prize!
