Elated by the win, she took her picture with the clerk who sold her the ticket along with the scanner screen confirming her win. 

Melissa then called her good friend of more than 30 years, Teresa, to tell her the news. Teresa was thrilled for her. Melissa then called her son Dalton who replied in disbelief, “You hit 30,000 what!?”

Melissa plans to save her prize money and pay bills.
