Former steelworker David Murphy has been enjoying his retirement. He loves to play golf and enjoys his hobby of playing Hoosier Lottery Draw games.

David has been playing the same numbers for nearly four decades and just recently won his largest prize playing Powerball®.

David was at home reading the newspaper when he glanced at the winning numbers from a few days prior and instantly recognized that several of his numbers had been drawn for Powerball. To be sure, he looked up the numbers online and confirmed that he had won $50,000.

David turned to his wife and said, “Honey, we won $50,000!”

The couple plans to pay bills and put the rest of the prize money toward a family vacation they’re planning with their children and grandchildren to Gatlinburg, Tenn.
