Bhupinder Multani works long hours, six days a week at a gas station. When he gets off work in the morning, he calls his mother in India every day. While he was on the phone with his mom at Kroger, he purchased a $30 Mega Money Scratch-off and began scratching the ticket. At first, he thought he had won $500 or maybe $2,000, but when he asked the clerk to scan his ticket, he found out that he had won $20,000. With his mother still on the phone, she exclaimed, “Are you crazy? No one is going to give you $20,000!”

Bhupinder plans to use the prize money to go into business with his brother and eventually own his own gas station.
