A $50,000 Hoosier Lottery Scratch-off prize will “take some of the pressure off” for a nurse, mom and wife.
Lisa Madinski of Fort Wayne won a top prize of $50,000 on a $3 Combo Play Scratch-off she purchased at Mac Food Mart in Fort Wayne.
She bought three of the tickets while running errands before the Indiana Pacers game. She took them home to scratch, and the second one she played was the big winner.
“I went, ‘Oh my gosh, oh my gosh!’” Lisa recalled.
The windfall comes at a helpful time. Lisa has a son getting married and another child in college. The family is also working on putting up a pole barn.
