Darrell Morton of Indianapolis is retired and enjoys jazz music and playing guitar. He also enjoys playing the Hoosier Lottery, especially the popular Draw game Daily 4.

Darrell typically stops at the gas station closest to home to buy his tickets and usually picks his numbers based on birthdays or addresses. One day, a friend called Darrell to ask whether he had won because the previous night’s winning Daily 4 numbers were numbers Darrell frequently plays.

When Darrell looked at his tickets, he was thrilled to see he won $13,000. Wanting to share the good news, he called his son, who was very happy for him.

Darrell plans to put the prize money in savings and possibly use some of it for a vacation.
