Kathryn Strandberg works at a distribution center in Marion, Ind. After her shift, she stops to pick up Fast Play tickets and a fountain drink on her way home. Kathryn sets a limit on how much she’ll spend on lottery tickets each week.

After realizing that she was a winner, she texted her wife Natasha to tell her the news. Natasha was just waking up to begin her day and didn’t see the messages until Kathryn got home.

“I had just woken up and honestly was a little jealous that she had won and not me,” said Natasha. “After it set in, I was happy for her and what this means for our family.”
