Indianapolis resident Crystal Bazan and her husband like to play Hoosier Lottery Draw games for fun. Her husband’s favorite game is Quick Draw because, he says, it seems easy to understand.

When it’s time to purchase their weekly Quick Draw tickets, Crystal and her husband have a long-standing deal—one of them goes out and buys the tickets while the other one stays home and fixes dinner. As usual, Crystal chose to buy the tickets while her husband cooked dinner that night. Her husband picked their numbers, and Crystal headed to a nearby Marathon.

A couple days later, Crystal and her husband were at home when he suddenly yelled, “You need to come here!”

Thinking her husband’s back had probably locked up again, she hurried into the room. “Here,” her husband said, handing her their Quick Draw ticket, “read me the numbers.”

As Crystal read off their numbers, her husband realized they had matched nine out of 10 numbers. Neither of them was sure how much they won, so Crystal took the ticket back to Marathon and asked the clerk to scan it. Although they confirmed the ticket was a winner, they were unable to tell her how much she won.

When Crystal and her husband arrived at the Hoosier Lottery’s Prize Payment office and learned they won $12,000, the couple was thrilled. They plan to use their winnings to take a vacation and possibly make a couple of home improvements.
