Thomas Carr is originally from Indiana but has lived in Connecticut since the mid-1980s. He visits his family in Indiana regularly, and when he does, he likes to play the Hoosier Lottery. 

As Thomas was wrapping up his visit, he stopped for gas to fill up his mother's car since he had been using it during his visit. While at the gas station, he bought a CA$H 5 ticket for that evening's drawing. The next morning, Thomas checked his ticket and was stunned to see that he won the $908,523 jackpot! 

Thomas plans to use some of the prize money to complete a couple of projects around the house and will invest the rest.
