In Fiscal Year 2021, the Hoosier Lottery was proud to announce another record-setting transfer to the State of Indiana, fulfilling its mission to return maximum net revenue to the State, in a socially reponsible manner. Thanks to our players, the Hoosier Lottery surpassed $1.3 billion in Scratch-off sales for the year.
This allowed us to transfer a record of $375,500,000 to the State of Indiana to support good causes.
More than $1.1 billion went toward prizes during this past fiscal year. From visiting with winners in prior years, we know that much of the prize money is spent in local communities throughout the State.
Big prize winners may buy cars, complete home improvement projects or make some other major purchase - often with businessess in their communities.
