Bobby Spurgeon is a Vietnam War veteran and retired prison guard. These days, Bobby likes to take it easy at home, taking care of his lawn, playing with his dogs and driving his high school car – a Pontiac GTO.

Bobby was out to buy milk and a few things at the IGA and went across the street to buy a few Hoosier Lottery Scratch-offs. He hadn’t played a $50 Scratch-off before but wanted to try one out, so he purchased a $50 50X the Money Scratch-off.

Bobby often thought about what it’d be like to win $10,000 or $20,000, so when he scratched his 50X the Money ticket to reveal he won the $100,000 top prize, he couldn’t believe it. When he got home, Bobby shared the news with his wife, who was also in disbelief.

Bobby plans to pay bills with the prize money.
