Pennville woman wins $2,000 after back surgery
After taking time off of work for extensive back surgery, Samantha thought she would try her luck out with a lottery ticket. It was a normal day when she stopped by the Pennville Pantry, located at 123 N. Union Street, Pennville to get a soft drink and, little did she know, a winning ticket. Once she got to the cashier, she decided to take a chance with a $25 Gold Bullion Scratch-off. Samantha isn’t a regular lottery player, so this was an impulse ticket choice for her.
“I’m glad I followed that impulse,” she said.
Instantly, Samantha won $50 from the first ticket she bought and decided to get one more ticket and save the rest of the funds. She was more than shocked when she scratched off the second ticket and saw she won $2,000.
“I thought I was going to pee my pants!” Samantha said.
She intends on using these funds for bills and Christmas for her four grandchildren.
Gold Bullion Overall Odds are 1 in 2.94.
