Indy man wins $200,000 after motorcycle stolen.
Three months ago, thieves took Rick Gooch’s Harley Davidson motorcycle. Last week, Rick cashed in a winning Scratch-off that more than covers the bike’s replacement.
Rick, a pipe welder from the south side of Indianapolis, plays a couple $5 Scratch-offs daily, and he plays the occasional draw game on the weekends. His new favorite game is the $5 $20,000,000 Payout ticket, after hitting a top prize of $200,000.
Before coming in to Hoosier Lottery headquarters to claim his prize, Rick stopped by work and took an immediate two weeks of vacation.
“I think I’m going to see my uncle in Florida,” he said.
In addition to taking the trip to Florida, Rick plans to pay off his new motorcycle, pay off his Jeep and pay his girlfriend’s debts.
Rick bought the winning ticket at BP Food Mart, 8011 S. Madison Ave., Indianapolis.
Estimated Overall Odds for $5 $20,000,000 Payout are 1 in 4.08.
