Wehmiller and Lucinda Howe
MONEY BALL BINGO
Mother-daughter teamwork pays off in fun and $50,000 for Seymour pair
Martha Wehmiller and her daughter, Lucinda Howe, were all smiles Tuesday – and likely still are today – after claiming a $50,000 prize at Hoosier Lottery Headquarters in Indianapolis.
The pair teamed up to win the prize on a $3 Money Ball Bingo ticket, which they purchased last Friday at Circle K at 612 East Oak Street in Seymour.
“I bought it for her,” said Lucinda, “because she likes them. She really likes those bingo games.”
Martha’s affection for bingo-themed scratch-offs only grew larger after scratching off the ticket.
“We couldn’t believe it,” said Martha, speaking of the moment she discovered they had won. “We were so excited, but we just couldn’t believe what we saw.”
While the biggest payoff for the pair appears to be the fun they’ve had in the past few days, they do plan to make a few small purchases for themselves and their family. Click here to read more about the Money Ball Bingo game.
