New Castle winner plans trip of a lifetime
Marcia Crabtree of New Castle walked into Hoosier Lottery Headquarters and presented a top prize winning $150,000 Fortune scratch-off ticket May 30. “Couldn’t come at a better time,” said Crabtree, who works as a bartender. “It’s not like I’m a wealthy person.” As she claimed her winnings, the grandmother of four said she was excited to be able to start college funds for her grandchildren and ultimately hopes to “put most of it back“ for retirement. Crabtree said she is going to splurge on one indulgence for herself. She is going to do something she has always wanted to do: take a cruise. “It’s wonderful!” said Crabtree. “I’ve had a happy day.” Read more of Marcia's story here.
