East Chicago man claims $1 million Mega Millions® prize
An East Chicago man is the Hoosier Lottery’s latest millionaire. Louis Naumoff, or “Lottery Louis” as his brother has started calling him, missed a $241 million jackpot by one number in Tuesday night’s Mega Millions drawing. The Lake County man was lucky enough to win $1 million thanks to his insistence on always adding Megaplier. Naumoff’s lucky numbers were numbers of his own choosing that he has been playing for some time. He says he plans to pay bills, pay off his mother’s house and “enjoy life” with his winnings. Naumoff purchased his lucky ticket at Nick’s Liquor Mart at 4702 Calumet Avenue in Hammond. Read more of Louis' story here.
