Indianapolis man wins $300,000 Quick Draw top prize
John Wimsatt of Indianapolis plays Quick Draw every day because he doesn’t want to miss out on an opportunity to win the game’s top prize. June 7 was no exception and his commitment to the game paid off that day in the form of a $300,000 top-prize win. The 75-year-old Wimsatt, who has lived in Indianapolis since 1958, matched 10 of 20 numbers in the Quick Draw drawing last Thursday. Even ough he’s had a few days to ponder his newfound fortune, Wimsatt has no immediate plans for his money. “I’m just going to put it in the bank and think about it – maybe invest it in something,” said Wimsatt. “I’m 75 years old, so there’s not too much trouble I can get into anymore.” Read more of John's story here.
