WINNING IN SPADES
Wedding bells follow $100,000 win
There’s never really a bad time to win $100,000, but for a Clay County couple, the timing of their $100,000 Hoosier Lottery win seemed opportune.
A week ago Dianne Martin and her fiancé Mark Knust put wedding rings in layaway with hope of setting a date and tying the knot sometime in 2015. Their timeline changed a bit on Saturday when the pair unexpectedly won a $100,000 Hoosier Lottery prize.
“We got the rings out of layaway Saturday and we’re getting married today!” said Dianne Martin.
The couple planned to go straight from Hoosier Lottery Headquarters in Indianapolis to the courthouse in Brazil to make it official Monday afternoon. What would you do if you won the Hoosier Lottery? Find out what your fellow Hoosiers would do and tell us your dreams here.
