A Letter to Hoosier Lottery Players

While 2020 has been a year of uncertainty and unprecedented events, one thing has remained a constant focus for the Hoosier Lottery. We have remained committed to supporting our players, employees, retail partners, and beneficiaries across the state of Indiana. For the first time in our 30 year history, the Hoosier Lottery closed the Prize Payment Centers to walk in customers. However claims continued to be processed by mail or for those who utilized the on line scheduling appointment tool.

The Hoosier Lottery will continue to follow state and local guidance as we safely operate through the use of social distancing guidelines, additional cleaning protocols and other requirements, such as masks.

The Hoosier Lottery Prize Payment locations are now open to the public Monday through Friday, from 8:30am to 4:30pm. This includes Hoosier Lottery Headquarters, 1302 N. Meridian Street, Suite 100, Indianapolis; North Region Prize Payment Center, 230 Red Coach Drive, Suite D, Mishawaka; and South Region Prize Payment Center, 5625 E. Virginia Street, Evansville, IN. As of September 8, 2020, we will be open to the public for prize claims but will not be selling tickets at any of the three locations at this time. Due to social distancing guidelines, there might be wait times and players might need to wait outside for a period of time, as well. We continue to accept mail-in claims and information on how to process a mail in claim can be found at hoosierlottery.com/claim.

We are so thankful for our players and your patience during this time. As we champion Hoosier Dreams, big and small, we proudly help support those who gave Indiana’s children the gift of learning by contributing to the Teacher’s Retirement Fund, those who dedicated their lives to protecting us by giving to local police and firefighters’ pensions and contributing to the Lottery Surplus Fund. Every ticket makes a difference. Thank you for playing.

Our Prize Payment offices are open to the public for walk-in redemption of winning tickets of $600 and more. We continue to encourage players to redeem their prizes by mail.
