Grant Administrative Partner:
The Hoosier Lottery Student Research Grant program's objective is to build capacity and knowledge in the area of responsible gaming research and program development.
The Hoosier Lottery shall fund up to $10,000 per applicant, per calendar year, to support research projects by a current graduate student at an accredited university in Indiana completing a master’s thesis or dissertation that aligns with the Hoosier Lottery’s research priorities. The funds are awarded by the Hoosier Lottery Research Grant Program Committee and are available on a competitive basis. Eligible individuals and nonprofit organizations may submit proposals throughout the year.

Upon receipt of the award acceptance letter, 90% of the funds will be provided to the Sponsoring Organization for dispersal to the student recipient. The recipient is required to submit progress reports throughout the duration of the project. Ten percent (10%) of the funds are held until the completion of the research project and a final project report is received. We will use this report for improvement of the Hoosier Lottery Responsible Gaming Program.
