Marion woman wins $1 million on Powerball numbers from dream
INDIANAPOLIS (May 16, 2017) – A dream about Powerball numbers paid off big for a Marion woman. She won $1 million on a Powerball ticket from the May 6 drawing.
Rebecca T. of Marion originally thought she won $100,000 and was shocked when her daughter called to tell her she’d actually won $1 million. The winning ticket was purchased at Speedway, 1227 N. Wabash Road in Marion.
“I always said we would hit one day,” Rebecca said while claiming her prize money at Hoosier Lottery Headquarters in Indianapolis. “Can’t believe it actually happened.”
Rebecca’s adult daughter had a dream in January of a Powerball ticket with the numbers 11-21-31-41-59 with Powerball 9. She has played the numbers a few times since the dream, and this time matched all numbers except the Powerball.
She plans to share the money with family and fulfill a longtime dream of building a tiny home.
Powerball Overall Odds are 1 in 25. The next Powerball drawing is Wednesday night, with an estimated jackpot of $204 million.
