Hoosier Lottery ad agency wins gold award
Honored for firefighter video
INDIANAPOLIS (March 19, 2014) - A video depicting retired firefighters expressing gratitude for the Hoosier Lottery's support of their pension fund has resulted in an award for the Indianapolis-based advertising agency of Mortenson Safar Kim (MSK).
The American Advertising Gold Award was presented at the March 7 annual American Advertising Federation awards ceremony in Indianapolis and was in the category of Video Branded Content Over :60 Seconds. MSK, the Hoosier Lottery's agency of record, produced the 3-minute video. The video is used to show people just one of the many ways in which proceeds from the Hoosier Lottery are helping people and communities throughout Indiana.
The award competition featured 15 categories besides the Video Branded Content Over :60 Seconds. A total of 377 entries were submitted in all the categories. Judges were Jerry L. Bergeron, designer and principal at redcap creative in Amarillo, TX; Trace Hallowell, founder of the branding firm Tactical Magic in Memphis, TN; and Jennifer Kohnhorst, associate creative director at Initio3i in Minneapolis, MN.
