$100,000 win means new beginning for Indianapolis man
INDIANAPOLIS – When Micheal Fitzpatrick of Indianapolis got up yesterday morning he had no idea the dramatic turn his day would take. He certainly didn’t expect to win $100,000 on the Hoosier Lottery Scratch-off he purchased - but that’s exactly what happened! The Marion County man was more than a little shocked to discover he won a $100,000 top prize on the $100,000 Payout Scratch-off he purchased from Sun Food Mart Store at 2950 Cold Spring Road. He claimed his prize at Hoosier Lottery Headquarters December 20.
Even though the reality of his win is still setting in, Fitzpatrick said he plans to use his winnings to improve his financial situation for the long run.
“This pays off my house,” said Fitzpatrick. “No more house payment!”
Fitzpatrick is a caterer by profession who has long-dreamed of starting his own catering company.
“This is a game-changer,” said Fitzpatrick. “This gives me money to start my own company.”
“Thank you! Thank you, Hoosier Lottery!” said Fitzpatrick.
The Hoosier Lottery reminds players to always play responsibly, and to always sign the back of their tickets.
