Noblesville truck driver wins $1 million at Colts game

Truck driver and Noblesville-native Craig Lochard had the time of his life at Lucas Oil Stadium last night. Lochard won $1 million in the Hoosier Lottery's Lucky Millionaire second-chance drawing on the field during halftime of the Colts game against the New York Jets. Lochard was one of five finalists in the running for the $1 million prize as part of a Hoosier Lottery's mylottery Lucky Millionaire second-chance promotion. Indianapolis Colts' mascot Blue had the honor of drawing the winning entry from the barrel.

Hoosier Lottery to award $1 million at Monday night's Colts game

The Hoosier Lottery is giving away a million dollars at Monday night's Colts game against the New York Jets. The drawing will be conducted at halftime on the field at Lucas Oil Stadium. The five finalists in the running each has a one-in-five shot at the $1 million prize. Hoosier Lottery prize payment offices closed Labor Day

Hoosier Lottery prize payment offices in Indianapolis, Mishawaka and Evansville will be closed Monday, Sept. 7 in observance of Labor Day. Hoosier Lottery drawings will occur at their regular times. Tickets may still be purchased, and prizes less than $600 may be redeemed at most Hoosier Lottery retailers. Hoosier Lottery prize payment offices will reopen Tuesday, Sept. 8 at 8:30 a.m. local time.

Hoosier Lottery players holding a Cash 5 ticket for last night's drawing will want to check their tickets carefully. A ticket purchased at Marsh Supermarket, 3075 E. 25 St. in Columbus, Ind. matched all five numbers to win last night's estimated $135,000 jackpot. The winning Cash 5 numbers for Aug. 20 are: 13-20-22-28-31.

Cash 5 winners plan to treat grandchildren, save for retirement

Two tickets matched all five numbers in the Aug. 5 Cash 5 drawing. Winners in Marion and Indianapolis split the $179,677 jackpot. Both men struck it rich playing their own lucky numbers, 05-10-15-22-28. Benton Haganman of Indianapolis and Barry Garner of Marion each received $89,838.50 before taxes. Both men claimed their winnings Aug. 6 at Hoosier Lottery headquarters in Indianapolis.
