Robert May of Pendleton is a Scratch-off player who likes to buy his tickets at the same retailer near his home. Though the location stays the same, he likes to switch up the games he buys. “I usually just buy whatever the person in front of me bought,” said Robert.
Robert woke up one recent morning and realized he hadn’t scratched the previous day’s tickets. As he was scratching off a ticket from the Aces High game, he found that he had won $125,000.
Once he realized he had won, he called his daughter, who happened to be playing golf. When she heard the good news, she started yelling and screaming on the golf course.
Robert is a retired Indiana state trooper and plans to use some of his prize money to pave his driveway. He feels blessed, and he hopes to win again at some point in the future.
